Shrink sleeves are a low-cost option when needing to provide a consistent coating option around girth welds of a pipe or large radius coating replacements. The Covalence Blue 60 shrink sleeve is a two-layer wrap-around and heat applied shrink sleeve for pipelines operating at ambient and elevated temperatures (60°C max operating temperature). The installation of the Blue 60 shrink sleeve does not require any special equipment and can be completed with a standard gas torch and roller.
• Available in 17” and 24” widths and can be custom cut for any pipe circumference
• First layer – Visco-elastic butyl-based adhesive
• Second Layer – radiation cross-linked high density polyethylene with permanent change indicator (PCI)
• Low preheat temperature
• No shelf life issues
• Fast and easy installation keeps installations costs low
• CSA Z245.30-14 compliant
• 60°C max operating temperature

The Covalence Blue 60 shrink sleeve can be applied to the circumference of any pipe circumference. With the use of a standard torch and roller, the shrink sleeve can be easily applied in field for quick and low-cost coating repairs.
When ordering the Covalence Blue 60 shrink sleeves, please indicate the pipes circumference, the width of section requiring repairs along with the quantity of sleeves required to complete the project.
