The monitor alarm board is designed to activate an external LED or relay contact when the rectifier's output has gone out of a predetermined range. The current alarm board is designed to monitor rectifier output current, and the potential alarm board is designed to monitor the protected structures potential. Both accept either 120 VAC or 240 VAC input, and have normally open and normally closed relay outputs available.
The user determines a low alarm point and high alarm point range by setting adjustable potentiometers on board. When the board measures an input within range, it sets the output relays to the default state. When the measurement is out of range, the relays change state. These relays in turn can be used to trigger a green and red LED combo, or to notify your SCADA system.
Currently, only the potential monitor alarm board is available for online purchase. For other versions, technical details, or for help determining the right part for your rectifier, please send all inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
